Edmonds RFA Discussion with Annexed Cities
With Edmonds being the latest city to decide whether or not to join the South County Fire RFA, NWCC is hosting a conversation with representatives from cities that have chosen to join. We will discuss the process, questions, benefits, and concerns that led up to their vote, as well as how it’s been since annexation.

Edmonds Special Election Discussion: South County Fire Annexation
NWCC’s event will be in two parts: a presentation from the City of Edmonds, followed by a Pros and Cons discussion. It will also be livestreamed and recorded, for residents to view and utilize ahead of the April 22 special election.
The Edmonds City Council has the legislative responsibility to appoint two committees to write ballot measure statements that will appear in the election voters’ pamphlet. The pro committee writes the statement in support of the measure, while the con committee writes the statement in opposition of the measure.

CSS Toy Drive
The 2024 CSS Toy Drive is taking place on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 from 2-4PM PST at the 32 Bar & Grill, located inside the Kraken Community Iceplex. The Bar & Grill is located on the West side of the Iceplex, the side of the facility closest to the Northgate Link Light Rail station. Free parking is available in the lots located around the Iceplex for those driving to the event.
All toys and donations will be going to “Mary’s Place,” a nonprofit in Seattle & King County helping families experiencing homelessness to get the help they need. Michael will be sharing the receipts and photos of the journey as we go along, so you can see the journey of your donation/contribution as they’re collected and then donated!
If you’d like to make a tax-decuctible donation, you can do so by clicking here.
