NWCC’s event will be in two parts: a presentation from the City of Edmonds, followed by a Pros and Cons discussion. It will also be livestreamed and recorded, for residents to view and utilize ahead of the April 22 special election.
The Edmonds City Council has the legislative responsibility to appoint two committees to write ballot measure statements that will appear in the election voters’ pamphlet. The pro committee writes the statement in support of the measure, while the con committee writes the statement in opposition of the measure.
